Guides of Bhutan specialises in crafting imaginative and uplifting adventures for travellers in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Our community of friends, family and colleagues have been guiding adventures here for over 30 years. We are a locally owned Tour Operator based in Paro, Bhutan and London, England (ABTO License No.1026749) and offer the full DMC service.
As a team we adhere to the farsighted Royal Government of Bhutan policy of ‘High Value, Low Impact’ sustainable tourism which safeguards Bhutan as an exclusive destination based on the core values of Gross National Happiness (GNH). We offer the traveller unparalleled access to the otherworldly and enriching Buddhist essence of our extraordinary Himalayan outpost.
Not wanting to give too much away we keep many of our gems offline, weaving them into our guests’ adventures at the most opportune moments. Our mission is to ensure travellers make the most of their precious time in the Land Above the Clouds in the most authentic and sustainable way possible. We endeavour to take you deeper, to fully engage with the Kingdom, its people, culture and landscapes through a whole range of immersive and life affirming experiences and encounters.
Now more than ever, founding partners Ugyen and Philip believe in travel as a force for good (enriching the lives of both our guests and the local community) and share a vision for what it takes to transform a tour of Bhutan into the journey of a lifetime for our guests.
